I love the note at the bottom of the article that says 12 people were supposed to show up but only 5 did.  I would not get married like that.  What bride likes to share their special day with anyone other than the Groom?

LOL I find it mildly amusing that twelve couples won the opportunity but seven didn’t bother showing up. I feel bad for the other people who applied and didn’t get chosen. That’s seven vacant spots they could have filled.

If I hadn’t been interested in having a reasonably conventional wedding, and Darling Husband and I had decided to elope, I could see us doing something like this. If you’re not going to go the whole nine yards for a traditional ceremony, you may as well do something fun!

@miss-spunkin: LOL yeah clearly I wouldn’t choose that particular opportunity, but I wouldn’t have minded doing something similarly off-the-wall elsewhere.
