I’m in the same boat! 2.5 days of work left–we supposidly have a 10% chance of rain that day and 2 cancellations so far.

And I’ll be leaving for the beach in a week exactly! πŸ˜€

i received 5 cancellations since turning in our final numbers. I also was informed today that someone was changing their guest, though the escort cards are already printed. Lastly, we found a typo on our programs that we printed ourselves last weekend, leaving us wondering whether we should buy and print more. It was DIY but the program paper was costly. I’m working Tues. and Wed. I still have to pack for the honeymoon. I’m beat just typing all of this!

The weather looks like it will hold. **fingers crossed** Finished the programs last night, there’s a tiny typo. But, I don’t think anyone will notice.

Honeymoon? Fly into Amsterdam, through Normandy, leave from Paris.

Sportsgal31 we decided to reprint the programs. I’d keep an eye on the weather if I were you. Yesterday morning they forecast rain for Saturday afternoon here, but today they’re saying a slight chance of rain in the morning but mostly dry throughout day. The forecast has literally changed everyday this week. If it rains I will have no other option than to have the ceremony in my reception space. So i totally understand your hesitation. Yesterday’s weather report  made me sad at first; but then I told myself: “Cheer up. Rain happens. As I embark on a marriage, this is just the first of many challenges, and how I handle rain on my wedding day will be a reflection of how I will handle the trials and tribulations that all marriages evebtually encounter.” After that little pep talk with myself I promised not to let it ruin my day.

It’s so cool to think everyone in this thread is getting married right now!  And my turn is next week!  Come back and let us know how it went.

Downside is, every time I check my day’s forecast, it’s worse than before.  Now it’s at a high of 62 with a few showers.  Booo!  If it were today like all of your wedding, it would be a beautiful 77 degrees in the early evening when my ceremony is.  Oh well, still 6 days out, so time for it to change for the better.
