Sh!T!!!! i m so sad..
my dress I picked didnt go well with my hubby to be’s suit. He is wearing a dark charcoal suit with grey tie (not a tux)
Here is my dress I chose … a vintage rustic look…very whimsical
(a girl wearing same dress that i bought) Darn, it look so GOOD!
The yellowish color really clashed with his white shirt…. it was so bad even I had to admit despite I am in love with the dress
This is my venue
And now.. the boring white chiffon dress with some 3D flower details (which i now will use as my ceremony dress), the white/ivory goes so much more better with David’s suit..
Thanks for letting me whinge .. i m disappointed i cannot use my whimsical tulle dress.. i probably use it as my send-off dress at my reception.. (plus i also have a recception dress.. )
I hope I made the right decision in choosing the ivory dress so it match the venue and david…

Wouldn’t it be cheaper/easier to change just his shirt? The grey of the suit and tie are neutral so what do you think about changing it to a warmer white/cream shirt? That way you can wear the dress you love AND the won’t be bothered by the blue-ish vs yellow-ish tones. 🙂
Either way you’ll be beautiful and I think you should wear what you’ll love the most and feel the most confident in.

yea his shirt should be changed to match your dress!! Just go to kohls- they have warmer white shirts- that what I got our guys

I would just rock your awesome dress! NO ONE will notice if it isn’t an exact match with his shirt! I’m wearing offwhite, and Fiance decided (even after I told him I’m wearing offwhite, not white) to wear a bright white bowtie and vest (which I hate). But no one cares- I showed it to all my lady friends, and no one commented on it!
I’m sorry you’re disappointed, I don’t want you feeling “boring” and regretting it!!!

I agree with lionskitty. Just change his shirt! It’d be fine then. I think grey would go really well with your dress.

This is silly! Wear your dress.

Yeah, can’t he change his shirt?

Your groom probably isn’t attached to wearing that particular shirt like you are to your dress. It truly baffles me that you would change your dress because of a shirt!

I already have both dresses … but David reminded me the venue we chose has a very traditional english garden so second dress will match more.
argh dam my impulsive buys sometimes!

Also, Darling Husband wore a very white, crisp shirt and I had an ivory dress… It really didn’t matter or look bad or like it didn’t match.

NOOOO I LOVE your first dress! Pretty please wear it? Your first dress can totally match an English garden!

I think that first dress matches a garden better to be honest

How does a whimsical dress not go with an English garden? anyway, its your wedding so if you are happy wearing another dress then good luck and enjoy your day 🙂
