(Closed) 5 Months to Order a Wedding Dress: Is that Enough?

You could probably get it rushed.  Mine only took four months but I was told it could take up to six to come in at some bridal salons.

It is possible that you could get it in that short a time, but it’s not a definite. It’s also likely that you’ll need some alterations after you receive the dress even if it is in your size (even if it fits perfectly, you’ll still need a bustle made). Be clear when you call bridal shops that your wedding is in February, and they should be able to advise you whether you can get your dress in time to have it altered and pressed. As mandb122 said, you’d want to get it rushed to be safe. Good luck!

to be safe you’d probably to want to rush order it.

My casablanca was schedule to be shipped 4 months after I ordered it- and it was a dress that was custom made to my measurements.

However it was here only 2 months after ordering.

So It’s possible- but I wouldn’t want to bank on it coming in early.
