So my sister is getting married in November. She’s letting me pick my own dress as long as it’s plum. I want a 50’s style/ pin-up dress. I found this one on here, but I have no clue where that person got it. I want to make the dress with help from my aunt. I’m looking for sewing patterns that look something like. Help me please!

There’s a whole bunch here – I googled McCall’s Dress Pattern 50’s pin up and found all kinds 🙂

Definitely Unique Vintage… I’ve seen it dozens of times as that’s where I got my wedding dress. You may also like Tatyana, which is where my bridesmaids dresses came from. I got loads of compliments on them (alika circle dress)
Just noticed the wish to make it – if you really want to/love sewing, I’m sure you can find old patterns that are similar on ebay or elsewhere, but the dresses aren’t too pricey… may be easier not to.

Vogue has a line of vintage patterns they have reproduced from the 50s. Many of those are really nice!
There are a few websites online, like fashionmia and dresslily that sell similar styles. And, of course, mod cloth!
