title says it all! 🙂
Went to the mall for about 2 hours and wanted to cry out of pure frustration because NOTHING FITS. I am so annoyed, but really need new pants for work/casual. I am a skinny 5ft gal, and I cannot find a single pair that fits me. I know I can get things hemmed, but the butt/thigh/waist doesn’t even fit!

I have no butt, and not pencil thin. And I have a terrible time. So I’m interested in seeing what others say. usually i end up just sticking with dresses

Any store that has a petite section.
Try department stores.

I have a really hard time finding jeans. I’m 5ft also. I have had some luck sometimes at the hollister store. Sometimes marshall’s believe it or not.

Ok this may not be the best thing youd like to hear, but have u shopped at the Jr’s sections? I know many people who shop in the kids sections and get away with it. Im 5’3 and im preetty petite myself. I have decided to not wear to many jeans, so I stick to basically short dresses/maxis- shorts and my fav– leggings.
but I do reccomend to look into the jrs sections

@kmsw: I’ve tried Petite sections at Talbots, Banana, Ann Taylor, Loft – their petite sizes are still way too big for me in the hips/thigh area 🙁

I’ve never actually purchased from Land’s End but they offer hemming when you purchase pants from them.

Do you have a Reitman’s? They have a petite section that surprisingly fit me well. But maybe it’s just a Canadian store? I don’t even know.
I agree. It’s so awful that pants are hemmed for the “majority”. What is that anyway!?

Have you tried this site?

I get my jeans at Express which are SOOPER long but for extremeley skinny people. i have to hem my pants like 6 inches but they fit my hips well. And yes I also shop in the juniors section. “paris blues” jeans are for super skinny girls. I used to go shopping where there were high pop of asian girls ( I swear) cause they carry more tiny sizes for short skinny girls. But I live by SF so its an easy drive for me. hope to not offend anyone by that, but thats how I shopped.

I know it’s a pain, but you can always hem. Speaking as someone on the opposite end (35-36″ inseam), it’s much easier to take fabric away than it is to add length!

For long pants, I find that capris work good as anything, but can only find those in spring/summer. Otherwise, jeans and other pants do come in petite lengths, which is either labeled with an S or P following the size number.
You can find those at Walmart, Target, Ross/Marshalls, etc.

I’m 4’11” and wear Angels jeans from Kohls (I think they’re also sold at JCPenney, Sears, and some other places). I wear the 3 Short size (it also comes in 1 Short, etc.) with boots with 2-3 inch heels. So with the shoes, my height is about 5’2″, and I actually don’t need to get the jeans hemmed. I originally stocked up when they were on sale and under $20, but the price has unfortunately doubled in the past few months…they might still be worth it if they fit, though!

I am a size 3(in juniors, 2 in misses), and I’m 5’4.” Nothing in the Misses section ever fits me right – especially work pants. I buy mine from the Juniors’ department at Dillard’s.. I will warn you that you’ll probably have to get them hemmed, but the thighs and waist fit great on me. It’s not like anyone knows that they’re from the Juniors department, and as a plus, they’re usually cheaper. I have at least 6 pairs from there.
