The last two months have been pretty rough leading up to the wedding.
First I lost my ring (luckily found it)
Then our Rehearsal dinner location called, they are no longer serving one of the food choices we picked, put on our invites, and more than half of our guests planned on having. So now we get a phone call letting us know this and we have to chose another meal and let our guests know to make sure they like it!
One of my bridesmaids didnt try on her dress when it came in and when she finally did realized it was not the right size. Shop had to order a new dress on rush and told us it wouldnt be in until the week of the wedding. (another good thing, it came in two weeks early so she has plenty of time to fix the dress)
Day of bachelorette party (the same day I lost my ring), the party trolley my girls rented rearended a cab while we were in it!
Now the two big ones….. HURRICANE SANDY and PNEUMONIA!
I went to the doctors just thinking I had a minor sinus infection and I wanted to nip it in the butt before it got worse and nope no sinus infection, after getting some chest xrays they tell me I have pneumonia. Great. If this cough doesnt get better by Wednesday I will need to go in for a cortisone shot so I am ok for the wedding day.
Now onto Hurricane Sandy! I know it will be out of here before Saturday but I am worried about the after effects. We were without power for 8 days last year after Irene so I am sort of freaking out. The hurricane on top of being sick is putting a huge damper on everything I needed to get done this week. I just hope all my guests are able to get here since most of our guests are from out of state. I have so much to do and no energy to do any of it. And since I havent been working out I feel like im getting all flabby and im afraid my dress wont fit. Thats probably me just freaking out and being hard on myself but its hard not to think that way when I can barely move!
Sorry for the rant! Just needed to actually get all that off my chest since Fiance basically laughs at me when I talk right now because I sound like a 14 year old boy going through puberty!

At least if the power is out you will have a few days to set up a back up plan. I’ve been to a wedding where the building was powered by a generator and no one even knew. I sure hope you feel better soon!

Oh my goodness. Lady luck is not smiling on you this year. But you know what? One person cannot possibly have everything go wrong in the same year. So I bet your wedding is going to be spectacular. There’s nothing you can do about the weather, so just focus on taking it easy and getting healthy for your big day. Feel better soon!

Lots of warm chicken soup and green tea for antioxidants! Best thing for nipping any sickness in the butt! It also speeds up your metabolisim! I also put a lemon slice to help cut the taste of green tea.
Letting everything out on wedding bee was the best thing you can do! Get it out of your head where you can read what your thinking helps a lot! Small things that go wrong isnt something to be worried about. Bridesmaids dress not fitting, FIXED! Troley hitting a cab, if I were you i’d laugh it off and see it as an epic memory of a bachelorette party! (As long as no one got hurt) Engagement ring, FOUND! You’re doing good chicky! :O)
As for the storm, we can only hope that it wont hit as hard as Irene did and no sever damage is caused. If you dont have wedding insurance by now, I would try to get it for peice of mind in the unlikely event of the wedding not going through, which again I highly doubt!
Feel better and Good Luck!!!!
