redux:  My TWW is about to end with AF arriving on Tuesday. Sorry I should’ve been more clear. I feel like the first half of the cycle is a TWW to O as well. So that one I am about to begin. Everything is a wait! 🙁

This thread is travelling so quickly! I’ll try to ctach up shortly but thought i’d roll call in the mean time

Roll Call!

Age: 30, DH 32

Cycles TTC: This is our 8th cycle since Feb 14.

CD/DPO/POAS date: CD20 & patiently awaiting for O. Up until last month it was between CD15/16 with avg 30 days in a cycle. Brother & SIL announced their KU so naturally i freaked & my last cycle was over 40+ days. I’ve been trying to remain calm & stress free so that we can actually have a chance!! So in short, POAS tbd.

TTC Plan: We BD ED during what i thought my FW would be but it looks like that was a ‘waste’. So now will try to BD EOD until O. This cycle I have been open about the in’s & out’s of it so he’s aware of the plan. He made me smile, knowing (or thinking) O came & went, yestedray morning he snuggled up to me & asked whether I was going to test to see if I’m pg. Once again i exlpain that we have to wait min 10 days AFTER O. And in actual fact i wasn’t sure that I had even O this month. Poor guy looked disappointed. It was probably the first time he showed he ‘cared’.

Known Issues: none. nada. went for blood tests earlier this month. all clear. did a hycosy. all clear. awaiting to the the 21 day test, but need to freakin’ ovulate!! DH is comfortable going for a SA but I figured it would be best next cycle (if not KU) so he can save himself up for me!

After DH’s SA, we are considering seeing a specialist. I’ve found out that IVF can cost us as little as $500 so am tempted to jump right into it as i wanted a baby yesterday. Part of me thinks we should wait, but i just want to get on with it!

Link to Chart (if you care to share!):  anyone want to take a wild guess as to when I’ll O???

For fun:  How did you meet your DH/FI/SO?

We met on holidays through a mutual friend whilst we were living on the opposite sides of the globe on NYE almost 6 years ago. We’ll be married for 1 this NYE & celebrating our anniversary at the same place we met. Really looking forward to the trip – would be 10x better if i had a little bean inside of me!!

GrannyPantiesRock:  I look at that thread often & pray for them. Not becuase i feel sorry for them but becuase they are goign through so much & I honestly wish that they get their BFP’s tomorrow. In a weird way i also see it as preparation as to what to expect (glass half empty anyone?)

MissCountryGirl727:  Can i be a member also? 😉

redux:  congrats on deciding to go through Clomid – fx it’s all you need!

Swizzle:  We really need you to get that BFP!! 10DPO is still early….

Just wondering does anyone use OPK’s? Do you find that you don’t waste ‘bd sessions’ because you know when O is coming? I’m worried that I’m going to tire eachother out hopeing that O comes along!

And side note – any aussie bees out there??

Whoa, I just got back from my trip to Malaysia and this (and the previous thread exploded). So much to catch up on.

Roll Call!

Age: 28; DH 31

Cycles TTC: 9th

CD/DPO/POAS date: CD28; I should be close to ovulation soon; POAS date TBD

TTC Plan: I was going to start temping this cycle but with the trip overseas, I decided to forgo it along with the OPKs. BD as much as possible.

Known Issues: None yet

Link to Chart (if you care to share!): NA

For fun:  How did you meet your DH/FI/SO? Our story isn’t that exciting, we met in grad school. He asked me out to my fraternity’s end of the year formal and stayed together since then. He was my first bf!

redux:  Don’t feel discouraged! Sometimes we need a little help. You’ll forget the feeling once you hold a little baby in your arms.

Nic01:  For $500, I would jump on that too!

sara_tiara:  Ha! I totally already have a secret FB account for stuff like this. Thanks for the tip.

Anyway, I totally blocked all the negative thoughts about ttc on my vacation. I was relaxed and positive that this will be our cycle. But of course, once I got back to the states I developed a UTI and now I have antibiotic-induced diarrhea (I need to buy a vat of yogurt tmr). Needless to say, I’m not feeling very sexy for BDing. I should be ovulating within the week so I don’t know how my chances are this cycle anymore.

Side story, I went to the urgent care yesterday for the UTI. At the end of the session, the PA said ‘oh, by the way, you’re not pregnant.’ There was no discusion or indication prior to this that I was TTCing. And of course I’m not pregnant, I haven’t ovulated yet! I’m sure she was just doing her job but it felt like rubbing salt on my wounds.

Can’t edit my previous post… I’m actually on CD20 not 28

redux:  You shouldn’t be too hard on yourself that you’re getting help from the Clomid. If it can help women get pregnant, I’m all for it. You shouldn’t feel ashamed because it’s not natural. I’m hoping the Clomid will help me conceive next month. Would I have preferred to conceive on my own from one or two tries? Of course, but it is what it is and hopefully it will bring both of us BFPs!

candy11:  Woohoo!!! Can’t wait for this cycle to end already! Only thing that sucks about a long LP is it feels like its FOREVER!

sara_tiara:  I never signed up for the VIP. I always said I would get it after a few months but never did. I know with my luck I’ll get it and finally get my BFP that month. At least I can always put it on hold if that’s the case. Thanks for the heads up!

sara_tiara:  Actually, FF is offering me a special since my VIP expires in 3 days, and I decided to not renew it for now.

So at 9 dpo, I tested this morning and thought I saw something. I then dashed out the door to pickup a FRER and peed on it when I got to work. Still not totally convinced. I’ve had a “line eye” false positive before.
