Hey Girls, this board has been a little quite and I thought I would pop in to avoid starting my day.
I hope you get some good news from your specialist appointment, or that at least there is some sort of easy fix.
I totally get that TTC taking over feeling, something I’m not really looking forward to.
I’m kind of interested in the PH test. I might just check it out.
It’s great that your starting out this cycle with a super positive attitude!
AF showed for me, a little earlier than expected. I never even really had a temp shift even though I got some lines on an OPK when I finally resolved to use them. But that’s fine, that means I can start TTC again a little sooner. One more cycle, or about 22ish more days and I am TTC again (and finally roll call)!
I’m getting discouraged about my weight loss though. With all the traveling/ birthdays we’ve had in the past month I feel like I’m fighting a losing battle. I have to be so much better and work twice as hard just so I can go to an all you can eat buffet (not what i want to spend my hard earned calories on, but whatever). My Mother-In-Law is a nurse. I don’t understand how someone in the health industry could be so unhealthy! DH wants to visit his family in an upcoming weekend and I feel so guilty for not wanting to go because I know all I’m going to eat while I’m there are meaty/fatty/starchy foods.
And after that vent, I’m thinking about how to go about TTC next month. I want to try and up my natural CM production. I’ve already been drinking lots of green tea, and maybe this month I’ll see if Mucinex helps me. I also know that my circulation sucks butt, and I worry that it may be an underlying issue when it comes to my MC, or future pregnancies. I’ve read that other bees have taken baby asprin and other meds in hopes of helping them concieve. Has anyone on here used these? Can you tell me about them?

I’ve heard that you should take extra folic acid while drinking green tea because green tea affects the absorption of it. I was debating about upping my green tea game this cycle too. Re: The circulation, have you looked at that self fertility massage? (FreckledFox did it) I looked into doing it this cycle, but I haven’t started. You do massaging from CD1 to O. It’s supposed to improve circulation in the uterus. As for baby aspirin, I took that one cycle during TWW and it caused spotting for me right away. So I figured it wasn’t for me. I have read good things about it, especially for people who have recurrent miscarriages.
AFM, I’m trying not to focus on TTC this month. No temping, no symptom spotting, etc. I’ll let y’all know how my appointment gets. It’s at 1:30 pm.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking of trying the massages as well. I’ll pick up some extra folic acid too. Horray, more pills to take. Hopefully taking a step back will help you this month.

Hopefully your appointment went well and you got some answers. Let us know how it went. Did you find a good self fertility massage video that you liked? I looked into it briefly but only found one that had snippets and wanted you to buy the DVD set.
I’m feeling the same about weight loss. I don’t want to work out too strenuously or drastically cut my food intake, so I’m just focusing on trying to be healthy, getting some exercise, good amounts of sleep and drinking lots of water. I figure that’ll be better for my TTC body than just losing weight and then once the baby is born, hopefully the BFing and exercise will help shed the pregnancy weight and then some.
