I made my own wedding shoes, so I would thought I’d share how I accomplished this! I needed flats so I went to Walmart (yuck!) and bought the cheapest/most comfortable “base” I could find. I found a basic white flat for $4.00 (which they almost always have available). Then, I bought some lace, chiffon, tulle, and flowers which I hand sewed around the very top of the shoe where the polyester hem normally would be. I really love how they turned out and I hope that somebody else can benefit from this idea!

Great shoes! It’s amazing what a little fabric and time can do! Did you see the post about the glitter soles? That could add a little unexpected sparkle. I thought it was a pretty cool idea.
