Our reception could not have been more amazing. We had a BIG FAT wedding and leading up to it I have to admit that I wondered if it was all worth it. It was!
It’s been so hard to work through which pictures to show!!
I love seeing Darling Husband smile! It’s a pretty neat feeling to know that marrying me made him this happy!
I didn’t know what to do with my bouquet so I handed it to my brother. Such a strange choice?!?!
Daddy and I danced to Brown Eyed Girl…we knew something slow would make us too emotional! Plus we are good shag dancers, southern style!
Can’t recommend this band more highly! You can book them through Sam Hill Entertainment….if you’re on the east coast/mid atlantic.
Dancing with a sweet friend!
My MOHs were my best childhood friend and my best college friend. They did this hysterical back and forth a’la “Bridesmaids.” One quote included “I was with her when she lost her baby teeth. Well, I was with her when she lost her adult teeth!” referring to this terrible college mishap. It was a riot! (Don’t you like how Best Man gave his speech so longer feels he has to pay attention? LoL)
My Mom and Dad had a small church wedding with a reception in the social hall. Definitely no music. This doesn’t fit their style AT ALL so I had the band play “Into the Mystic” for them and they had their first dance and our wedding!!!
I could not have been blessed with better parents. 35 years later they are still going strong and are an amazing example of fidelity, devotion, hard work, and unconditional love!
Michael Jackson dance contest!
Later in the night, things got pretty wild!
My best friend’s girlfriend caught the bouquet…couldn’t be happier!
My best friend.
