@PeachBee:  It’s hard to say, because each individual temp isn’t really a great indicator… you would want to look at the whole chart. I wouldn’t get bummed out, there can be a lot of reasons for a temp spike- and since you’re only 7DPO you still have a few days to see what happens.

I hope you get your BFP!

@PeachBee:  Mine did the same thing at 5DPO, and I had the same hope since it was such a huge spike. I have no idea if its normal or not, I just started charting. I know my temp was correct, as were the ones around it, and I’m not sick or anything either. Mine went back up today though. I guess we’ll see. Do you have a link to your chart? Here’s mine:

Edited because I apparently suck at spelling today.

It’s frustrating but it’s SO HARD to read anything by one day’s change…it’s not really a pattern until a few days goes by and you can look back. I get it though. You expect/hope your body will be doing one thing but then it does something totally unexpected. The thing is, even today’s temp was still well above your coverline, so you aren’t out yet. Your CD 13-15 had a similar sized increase/dip so it’s possible it was just one of those things that doesn’t actually mean anything.

ETA: Just saw that we are wedding date twins! And now TTC twins too, here’s hoping for a BFP for both of us this month.

@PeachBee:  I think you could still get a bfp as 7 days is early and your temps are still in the post o range. I stalk the charts on the ff app and I feel like your chart could still be a bfp. TCOYF talks about how lots of weird things could cause a high temp, I think try not to worry and count down to testing day!! I hope you get a bfp!!
