So even though we are keeping our wedding small (55 people), I’ve discovered it can be just as stressful as a wedding with 300 people! So I totally feel for y’all who have large weddings!! Then to add to the fun stress of the wedding, we are moving from TX to GA a few days after we get back from the honeymoon, so we are closing on our house (thank goodness we sold it!) on the rehearsal day! We’ve got boxes and wedding gifts everywhere! We seem to be managing everything okay. I think there is so much big stuff going on, it’s hard to focus on any one thing, so we’re just going with it. But then my FI’s dad got arrested almost a month ago and, well, the system always seems to be working until you have to deal with it! They keep pushing back his hearing date and now he won’t be able to make it to the wedding. My Fiance is devastated. I am quite upset, but we just keep reminding ourselves that this is our week (getting married in 7 days) and it’s the start of our family. So then today I got a phone call that one of my cousins (who is also a bridesmaid) was in the hospital with heart problems and the doctor ordered her not to travel. Of course her health is absolutely #1, especially heart problems at 24. I think my aunt and cousin were more upset about her not coming to the wedding. I was more worried and concerned about her health. Luckily, my brothers girlfriend was wonderful and is going to stand in for my cousin.
But all in all, I think we’ve hit our drama limit! That’s enough for now, thank you

You have so much going on! I don’t know about most of that but my husband and I moved right after the wedding too. It is such a stressful situation! I hope you know where you are going to be living, we didn’t and it was a pain to find one.

Oh my gosh, that is a ton to deal with, but it seems like you are handling as well as anyone could! I hope your cousin gets better too, and that things work out okay with your FI’s dad.
Good luck getting every thing together, and when the wedding day comes, I hope you get to focus 100% on getting married and enjoying your day!

I’m sorry to hear that things are so stressful! We have a LOT going on as well right now, and it’s crazy – this is meant to be such a happy time, but with all the issues & other things happening in other areas of our lives, it’s hard to focus on just enjoying this time! So I totally sympathise with you.
I hope that things calm down for you so that you can enjoy your day!

Some of these things are unfortunate, but my Fiance and I just try to maintain perspective. There are some things we can’t do anything about. But we can make sure we have a wonderful wedding week and wedding day! The end result is we will be husband and wife!
