  4. Chosen wedding party and approached them.
  5. Booked dressmaker for me and bridesmaids.
  6. Booked kiltmaker for Grant.
  7. Made tiara and bridesmaids’ headbands.
  8. Bought flowergirls headbands.
  9. Bought thank you gifts for BMs, best man, readers and MoB.
  10. Booked caterer.
  11. Booked ice cream tricycle.
  12. Booked DJ
  13. Booked band.
  14. Asked friends to play piano and bagpipes.
  15. Made a decision on invites (uncle doing them)
  16. Booked celebrant and done homework.
  17. Designed and bought shoes, covered them with Swarovski crystals.
  18. Had my first boudoir session (having a few)
  19. Booked make-up artist
  20. Booked DOC
  21. Decided on ceremony music and first dance.

Things to do this month:

  1. Find a hairdresser and book
  2. Have first fitting (both me and him)
  3. Find out if my friend’s mum can still do our flowers and if not find a florist.
  4. Finalise guestlists.
  5. Do more dance practice.

Next month:

  1. Send out invites for day guests.
  2. First hair trial.

We’re pretty set really but I’ve been enjoying it.

@MrsBoomBoom: I am getting married at the Board of Trade.  Where is your wedding?

Since I am an Out of Town bride, I’m going to have to do my first fitting, makeup trials and cake tasting and floral consultation when I come home for Thanksgiving.  Hopefully I can fit all of it that week!

It feels like just yesterday I still had over a year left. ugh…im starting to stress mainly because we chaged our theme and entire look of the wedding just a few weeks ago.

  10. Wedding Arch
  11. DIY Gift Card Box
  12. Bridesmaids gifts

@MrsBoomBoom: 1. I’ve already had my first make-up trial and I’m having my first hair trial at the beginning of October. I’m having more than one as I wanted to be sure that the stylist was up to the task before booking them. 2. You probably don’t need to have your first fitting ’til a couple of months before unless you’re having a dress custom-made for you (as I am). 3. No clue! I’m making my cake!
