I’m about to confess something that is making me blush to even type it.
I have had many many more wedding daydreams than I care to admit to, with this song as the soundtrack:
In them, I am resplendent in bridal gorgeousness, practically floating down the aisle toward the loving embrace of my (nameless, faceless!) intended….all to this song.
The first half of it, anyway. The second half, is a little sad but there’s a perfect stopping point before the chorus….
Now that I’m done embarassing myself with my own silliness what music will YOU walk down the aisle to?

Nothing Else Matters as performed by Apocalyptica

Our bridal party will walk down to "All My Life" by KC and JoJo…and then I’ll walk down to Trumpet Voluntary. It just screams, WEDDING to me! 🙂

Plainsong by The Cure. We love the 80s.

I will be walking down to ‘Here, There & Everywhere’ by The Beatles.

I walked down to "Air on a G String" played by a string duo (violin and cello). It was really lovely and very wedding-y without being "Here Comes the Bride".

I’m walking down the aisle to ‘Return to Innocence’ by Enigma. If you want to picture it, watch the ending of Disney’s Man of the House. 🙂

Aww Lorienne you’re not silly! 🙂
The whole bridal party and myself will be walking to Only Hope by Switchfoot. I get teary everytime it gets to the end of the bridge (about 3:20 into the song) where I’ll come out and walk. It’s such an amazing song.

I’m using "Only Time" by Enya. Played by string quartet, sung by FI’s cousin. so it’ll be a bit less poppy. The Bridal Party will come in to the Flower Duet by Delibes.

I SHOULD’VE been walking down the aisle to "Storybook Love" from the Princess Bride movie. However my DJ screwed up and played another song from the move, I think "Once Upon a Time". It was still a pretty song but very disappointing since I had imagined walking down to Storybook Love for 2 years…

"Make Me Whole" by Amel Larrieux. The sweetest song I can imagine while walking down the aisle looking into his eyes.
