Yes its possible. Monitor your calories in and calories out.. and remmember that 3500 calories = 1 lb. I think they say the recomended weight loss is 2 lbs a week, so losing 7 in three weeks should be fine.

Possible for larger people but at your weight a lot of it would either be water weight or muscle.  Why do you need to lose 7lbs? At 5’8″, 145 pounds is a perfectly normal weight.

Regardless, if you do feel like you ‘have to lose weight,’ do it the healthy way… exercise each day, feed your body with the correct portions, etc.  Good luck!

Jenbee is totally right– if you stop eating carbs, you will be fine.

SO DOABLE!! Drink nothing but water, do an hour or two of cardio 3-4 times a week, and follow the first phase of the South Beach diet to a tee.

It is possible, but don’t eat any carbs.  And don’t say “well, I’ll have this donut (or pasta or whatever) and work out tonight.”  Weight loss is basically about diet.

Sure, it’s possible, but as Ayslinn87 said, you are at a good weight now

South Beach does not involve counting calories.

You could do it, but I dunno. From the sounds of it, you are at the ideal wieght, if not borderline under weight for your height. Maybe I am wrong, but yeah . . . cut calories, and don’t just do cardio, add some weights to it. Build some small muscle tone, you’ll burn more calories.

Cut your sodium….and if a lot of your sodium comes from pre-packaged crackers and chips, you will have the added bonus of fewer flour-based carbs at the same time.

I ate primarily fresh fruit, chicken breast without salt (learn to love PEPPER!), low-sodium soups, fresh veggies, and natural peanut butter in the last couple weeks before the wedding and was happy with the results.
