My center stone is .91 carats, on size 5.75 finger. I went with just under 1 carat because it saved a little bit of money without sacrificing size!
No pics yet because my ring is not *officially* mine yet (soon!), but just popping in to say we got a .92 carat stone with an excellent cut (so it faces up larger than a lot of “good” or “very good” 1 carat stones!) for almost $1000 less than bumping up to the 1 carat mark for a stone with the same specs. When we saw the price vs. size difference, it was an easy decision. With smaller hands, the size is going to look perfect!
haileyblue : beautiful ring 😍
lwyrbee33 : yes that’s the good thing about having smaller hands! Post a pic of your ring when you get it, I love admiring rings!
1 ct. on about 5.5 finger. Ring is a 6 and a bit big, but I decided not to have it sized because I’m lazy…
Honestly a perfect range as far as I’m cncerned 🙂
Size 4.5-4.75 with 0.80! 0.80 was right in our budget for a J stone with XXX and HCA <2.
hssweethearts2013 : Hey lady–I’m a size 6, so a little larger than what you’re looking for, but I figure since you said close to a 5 I’d share.
I don’t usually wear them together, but I was taking pictures to compare the colors today. The one on top is a .76 ct that is 5.8 mm and the one on the bottom is a .85 that is 6.1 mm.
Hope that’s helpful!
I’m a size 4 and this is a 1.00 carat diamond. Hope this helps!
