first, I arrive at my dw to find out the church bell towwer is in the process of restorations..bright orange scaffolding all the way up…=( then I have had two disasterous hair trials two days in a row.
today I was eating bread in a cafe’…bit down, and the veneer on my front tooth popped off. I’m in tears…and I just want to go home.

@fresitachulita: I’m so sorry sweetie! Is there a dentist nearby who can glue it back on? Can you use krazy glue? Eek thats a bad suggestion but desperate times calls for desperate and crazy measures. You have 8 days. Just breathe.

((Hugs!)) Poor baby. You know, when bad things happen like that here is what I think: That the universe now owes you a HUGE BLESSING.
It has to balance things out. So, in 8 days you will have a 100% perfect wedding day!

I’m in mexico…I don’t know what to do abou the tooth. I’m scared to have it fixed here….worried about it turning dark or something, which can happen. My dentist used some white glue that comes in different shade. my cousin said he can take me to go talk to a dentist down the street right now, but I’m just so upset right now.

I’m praying the bell tower will be done, but no one seems to think so…and no one has asked the church because no one really seems to think it’s a big deal except me.
As for my hair…well, I might have to DIY it…I’m going for one more trial and that’s it.

Aww hun that’s awful!
In terms of the tooth provided they just stick the veneer back on they won’t damage the tooth itself. It should be fine. The colour might not be perfect because as you said, you generally use a shade-matched ‘glue’ so it looks perfect, but who knows, they may have that!
Wish I could fix everything for you!

@fresitachulita: My 3rd trial was my only good one….3rd time lucky for you too I think. Go to the dentist in Mexico…it’s your only option and I’m sure it will be ok. If the Bell Tower has scaffolding, then so be it….you won’t notice once you’re inside. good luckx

So sorry and hugs! But I do agree with Sunfire–a little hassle now and a great wedding later!

I agree with the others that said a hassle now is a good wedding later- my aunt and uncle had the church BURN DOWN TWO DAYS before their wedding, and it was fabulous none the less! I’m sorry you have to deal with this!

thanks everyone..trying to pull it together. I’ve asked them to at least take me to a consmetic dentist who does veneers, that way there is a good chance it will match close enough not to ruin my photos……rather than taking me to a dentist who will probalby just glue it on with whateve adhesive they have laying around.

Go to the dentist. Mexico actually has a fairly good healthcare system. Your photographer can photoshop any discrepancieis in color.
