I have the venue picked and reserved, but haven’t signed the contract yet

We decided on our caterer

The list for our desert buffet is completed

I bought my invitations on clearance for $12 (100 invites) now I just have to DIY them to make them fit our theme

We asked the MOH and best man but not the rest of the wedding party

I picked out my dress and it is in.  No alterations required.

We aren’t having a DJ, Photographer, and Videographer

We have started a list for reception music

I’m currently at a standstill.  I really don’t feel like doing anymore… I’m way over the whole wedding planning thing.  Reading the boards help to keep me motivated…

We have ceremony location, reception site and someone from my parents’ church will be doing the cake. I am trying to plan a wedding in my hometown which is two hours from where I live. We are going there on Monday to do some planning, so we will stop at the flower shop, talk to a possible caterer and we are meeting with the priest. So much to do. We also have a family friend who will probably do the photography.

I am stressed in trying to figure out what I want for the wedding and still please my fiance, who is one that actually wants to help in planning. Well, he goes back and forth, because he wants to help, but then feels like it should be left to me to plan what I want.

Sometimes I wonder why I didn’t just go away and get married and not worry about all this stuff. Oh yeah, my mom really wanted the wedding…

Sounds like you’re doing really well! Don’t stress! You have all the major things done!

I’m probably missing stuff, but things are coming along nicely!

I can’t believe it’s so close ladies, time is FLYING by!

Woo hoo! We’re a bit later in October, but I think we’re doing ok!

Completed:

  • Contract with venue
  • Cake found!
  • DJ booked
  • Dress purchased and hanging in closet, although it needs alterations
  • Wedding party has all been asked and accepted
  • Caterer chosen
  • Engagement pics done, photographer booked for wedding
  • Save the dates came in yesterday, need to send those!

Working on (DIY):

  • Napkins
  • Invitation suite
  • Bouqeuts
  • Wedding website

Need to finish/figure out:

  • Centerpieces
  • Bridesmaid attire
  • Ceremony music

I know there’s more, but I think we’re doing pretty well!

HI Fall Bees! So far we have

the dress, the officiant, the photographer and videographer, the cake, the venue for both the ceremony and reception, ceremony music, the dj, I have designed the centerpieces we just have to buy the stuff I will need for all of them, my hair stylist, food and wedding planner. I am halfway thru making my fabric bouquet, which I will be posting pics of when it gets a bit bigger.We’ve picked out the tuxes, they are chocolate brown ones by  Tommy Hilfiger I love them!!

We still need bridesmaid dresses, my shoes, print and mail STD’s, design invites, guestbook, print up the menus and table numbers and do the seating chart. I hope I’m not missing anything. Oh and we need the rings!!!!

Honeymoon- Putting a deposit down today! Yippee!

Attire- (Going for my gown this weekend, wish me luck!). My Out of Town BM’s are working on finding their dress.

Save The Dates- Have the design picked out. Will order in March, to be sent out in April.

Favors- Already picked out, just have to wait to order them

Work on finalizing music list
Work on Finalizing guest list- hopefully this weekend!

Alcohol- Not sure what out budget is. Will figure out once we get the final head count.

It’s crazy! i have so much done, but I still feel really overwhelmed and nervous.  Anyone else feel the same?
