So I’ve been working on my centerpieces (http://www.marthastewart.com/portal/site/mslo/menuitem.0e0eb51a2e6b5ad593598e10d373a0a0/?vgnextoid=b475ce908332f010VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD&autonomy_kw=cherry%20blossom&rsc=ns2006_m1)Â
I did the math with 32 flowers on each centerpiece, I need 800 flowers! I realized this after I was about 150 flowers in… I have 259 flowers done so far now.
Have any of you taken on a big project only to realize afterwards what a huge undertaking it was? Â
I am thinking of doing origami for all the bouquets and flowers, but we’ll see how I feel after I finish these flowers…Â Plus the origami is harder because I have no idea how to do origiami…

I was thinking of making those for my wedding too! Wow, I didn’t even think about how many that is! Thanks for posting. I guess I’m scratching that idea!
Maybe you need to have a flower making party w/your bridesmaids and friends. 🙂 You’ll be so tired of DIY if you try to make them yourself!

My fiance has helped me, but he’s been busy with homework lately.
I make flowers while watching tv, and I even make a couple while waiting in between games of Halo 3. Â
It’s really not too terrible making them. The thing I hate most is the cutting of the squares.
I picked up rolls of Martha Stewart paper from Michael’s and I really like the quality. It’s the glassine. I’m using red and light blue.
