- Wedding: September 2011
The BIG DAY has finally come and gone. I cried and we laughed a lot during the ceremony. I must say, that once the happiest day of our lives.
SInce our BIG DAY, I have learned A LOT about planning a wedding and/or any other big event.
First, it’s ok to ask for refund, especially if the vendor did not fulfill their end of the bargain. For example, I paid off our vendor around last year. The cost included the wedding package and cost of the room. Well, on Sept 2, the city began construction in the area where our cocktail hour was to take place. By the time of the wedding, the construction was not complete.
The wedding coordinator, Christina Molina, I was referred to from this very site, was a waste of money as she did not do her job. Our guest began to leave and she did not make the decision to begin cutting the cake, I DID!
TIP Please interview everyone thoroughly!
The DJ/MC and Lighting did not fulfil their part either. We made specific request throughout the planning of the wedding and I do believe our guest were highly disappointed.
OVERALL, I am so happy after all, I am now married to love of my life.
