Trying to help my boyfriend’s brother out.
He bought this ring for his ex-fiance back in June. It is a Henri Daussi cushion although it is only .93 carats the length and width of the ring (7.37 x 5.92) make it appear as though it is a 2 carat. It’s a beautiful ring VS1 F COLOR !!, and he is selling it for $5500 obo if you are interested. GIA certified and appraised at $6350 !
The ring is pictured on a size 4 finger.

Is that a Daussi cushion? Very beautiful!

Yes, thanks I should add that to the description !

call me stupid but I don’t undertand how less that 1 carat is that big on the surface. Is it just a completely flat chip?

I dont think the claim that it faces up like 2ct is quite accurate if only talkign about the center stone. 7.3×5.9 is a typical 1.5ish. Sounds like OP included the halo in the measurement.

That’s such a gorgeous ring. Hmmm, wish I had 6 grand!

It depends on the way that rings are cut. Sometimes they appear larger than they are depending on how well they are cut and what the dimensions are.

I have a 2ct and that looks BIGGER than mine! I also have a size 4.5 finger

Daussi is known for his cushions with large tables. You’re right that they are cut very thin. The lack of depth allows for an enormous table, giving it the illusion that it’s much larger than it actually is. It’s not everyone’s taste, but they are beautiful in their own way.

Beautiful ring, I love the Daussi cushions!

I love Henri Daussi settings- I wanted to buy a used one for a sapphire but couldn’t find a good size.

Has he tried “I do now I don’t”? It’s a website where you can sell jewelry that’s left over from relationships.
Hope that helps, it’s a lovely ring!

Thanks!! I will definitely check it out,,,,he justs want to get this ring sold after all the money he lost on deposits everywhere else!
PS- The reason the ring looks so big is because the depth is only 2.56mm

also try ebay. if he offers a 7 day money back, usually people are more likely to buy.
