I’m kinda torn between two stones sizes for my engagment the ring. My heart is completly set in an oval solitaire engagment ring with a yellow gold band, but i would like some opinions and pictures in what size do you guys think is more fitting for a an 8/8.25 ring size!
Thank you so much for the help, and please attach pictures if possible!

I’m a size 8 with a 1.5 oval diamond which is approximately 9×6.5. I just received it today and think it’s the perfect size! Good luck with whatever you choose!

I do not have a moissy to compare.. but I had a 9X7 oval black sapphire at one point, and I now have a 10X8 midnight blue sapphire with a halo.. on a size 7.5 finger, and I much prefer the larger stone, but that could be because it’s a gemstone and not a diamond or moissy
This is the old 9×7
This is the NEWER 10X8 midnight blue sapphire *the halo is not included in that measurement*
I also have short fingers… if this helps at all!
Sorry I do not have a white stone for comparrison but you get an idea!

I am a size 7 and have a 9×7 oval crushed ice harro moissy. I think either size will give you great finger coverage!

I had an 11×9 on a size 8 and that felt a little big. I had a cushion and I have an emerald that are 10×8 and I think that is a good size. For an oval though, I think they look better when the cut is a little more skinny so a 10×7 or something like that. The larger oval cuts in moissanite can look very splintery so by keeping them skinny they resemble something closer to a diamond shape.
