I am just wondering why wedding planning is an addiction. Before when I got engaged people would ask me when and I would be like oh, I don’t know……….. I would look at a few things online and then move on. But when I got serious, it’s like something grabbed ahold of me and didn’t let go. I went on the Knot and would look around but when I found Wedding Bee, I didn’t go anywhere else really. This site has taken over my life, I am on it at work, risking my job, as soon as I get home, like all night. I have not really watched tv for the last 4 months cuz I am too busy on here. I have 4 more days till my at home reception and then I hope to be done with this addiction.
I never dreamt of a wedding as a little girl, and NEVER thought this would be me picking out every little detail!! I am just surprised about it all. I hope I can wean myself off of here, so I can go about having a life with my new husband, lol……
If you are already married, are you still addicted to this site? Oh lord help me!

I share the same sentiments. I never dreamed of a wedding when I was a little girl. But now, that’s all I can think about. I think weddingbee should probably be my default homepage.
I’ve gotten tons of support and ideas from other bees. This is such a wonderful community.

I wouldn’t say I’m addicted to planning my own wedding… but I’m definitely addicted to this site! (not sure why…maybe I’m addicted to helping/telling other people how to plan THEIR weddings? hahaha….)

I know! I wasn’t the girl who grew up, dreaming of her wedding. I didn’t really start thinking about it until I was just out of college. I think the reason I am loving the planning is that I know that it will be the start of married life, a start of a new chapter for my Fiance and I. I just like what the day represents, so it’s fun thinking about it :-).

Lurked here 8 months before I got engaged, became a member about 9 hours after Fiance proposed and 3 weeks later I donpt know how I used to get through the day without checking weddingbee 5 times a day. Still 15 month to go before the wedding and I’m addicted to wedding planning. The best addicton I’ve ever had 🙂

I never really thought about my wedding until we actually got engaged. I am addicted to the Bee though!! It’s so nice to get ideas from other people and opinions before you do something you think is awesome..that might not be. 🙂

Idk if I am addicted to weddings, but I definately love this site. I have never really done anything like this before. I think there are great people here that can give you good honest oppinions on everything even after you get married. I dont think that I will leave after the big day… Thats just me though.
