I loooooove apple crisp. Especially when I’m eating it! It’s my favorite fall dessert….yummm.

*Big Sniff*  Yep, I caught a tiny scent of it….dee-lish!  Please share your recipe!

I’m glad you’re able to start celebrating fall where you’re at; I’m just a tad jealous.  The kids and I ate lunch outside on our patio, but I had to come back in after about 10 minutes.  The sweat was pouring down my face, and the humidity made it hard to breathe.  I’ll be so glad when our summer is over.

@AudzinLuv: Oh I agree it’s not fall yet here either.  Heat index yesterday was 99!

Yum! Love it.

Alot of folks consider apple crisp to be a year round food (and candle scent) so it’s not strictly fall only. But those rare few who consider it a fall food (I certainly am in that category), it’s definitely a great way to kick off the season.

I LOVE APPLECRISP! I’m afraid to get a candle, though. I think I’ll be hungry all the time!

I went to Yankee candle on my day off friday and bought a pumpkin spice and autumn leaves candle. Can’t wait to burn them!

But the smell of baking something fallish is so much more awesome πŸ™‚

That’s pretty much my exact recipe, except I coat the apples with cinnamon first πŸ™‚

Also, if you pour like 1/4c water over the apples in the pan, you’ll get a gooey drippy cinnamon caramel like sauce to pour over ice cream once the pan is empty πŸ™‚
