I forgot even though Darling Husband made a passing comment about it since he knows I watch it. There’s a repeat in another hour so I’ll try to catch it then if I haven’t passed out yet.

@ChuckNorris: It’s a spinoff of a documentary about a photographer named Nev who was in an online relationship with whom he thought was a 19 year old woman. Come to find out, the 19 year old was a middle aged married woman. So now Nev helps people who are currently in online relationships meet their significant others. These people are having relationships with people whom they have never seen not even through Skype or webcam. Most of the time, the people are not who they claim. One girl went to meet her guy who she thought was a male model. “He” ended up being a teenage girl. It’s crazy.

@ChuckNorris:  The guy Nev isn’t the best of hosts. I think he’s a bit awkward. However, I watch the shows just to see if the person at the other end of the internet is who they claim to be. The thing I don’t get is how you can maintain a relationship with someone for years in this modern age and not have seen them or in some cases, not even talk to them on the phone.

I loved the episode that turned out well for the woman in Mexico and the man she came to meet in Calfornia. That was soooo sweet I was so happy one finally turned out well even though they BOTH catfished each other.

@Olive12: I dk, I have made “friends” who I would consider true, genuine friends whom I’ve never spoken to on the phone through WB and we’ve been close friends for months, close to a year actually, and I plan to be a part of their lives for years on end. Obviously it’s not the same thing as a romantic relationship, but I consider myself quite close to them for sure. I feel like I’ve somewhat “verified” their identity through FB though. Of course they could still fool me… But I agree with you, how could they not know what is on the other side in today’s day and age?!?! If they are truly THAT close? haha

@ChuckNorris:  I get meeting friends online and being a part of their life, like WB =) However, these are people who consider the person on the other end as their SO. I really feel for the people especially if they are duped. My heart kind of breaks for them bc you can see that they really fell for this often contrived person.

Just got done watching.  It was really crazy!  I have some questions but don’t want to spoil it for anyone =[  This is why I refuse to online date, anymore.
