    I cliked yes, to fit in, but that’s not really why. a little bit to fit in, but also the lower risk of transmitting Save-The-Date Cards and not getting infections seems worth it to us. It was mostly DH’s decision, since I can’t really imagine either way.

    We will choose to circumcise our one day son, not because of religous reasons, but because of preference. Not at all to fit in but for the hygiene aspect and my Fiance is circumcised and we prefer it. So yes to the snip snip!

    Yes, I would circumcise. It would have nothing to do with religious reasons but rather hygiene. I know men who were not circumcised when they were born but they wish they were. They wouldn’t go through the procedure now but they would have been much happier should their parents have made the decision to do so. Besides, it’s not even a question for Fiance. He would never think twice about not circumcising our future son.

    We will circumcise because my husband wants it done, and I left the decision up to him, since I don’t have a personal or religious preference either way.

    Yes, I’m Jewish, so it will be happening for religious reasons.

    I will let Fiance decide

    However personally, other than for religious reasons I think circumscion is unecessary. The added benefits are few if any and if Men werent supposed to have foreskins then they would have been born without them…

    I also think its unfair to subject a child to cosmetic surgery without their consent….

    Like many of the advents of modern society we get so used to the things that weve altered we forget the way they used to be….

    As far as the STD transmission issue, most of the things we deal with now developed in the rather recent history as far as the span of humna life goes

    Ultimately, I support the ricght to choose 🙂

    I said yes for religious reasons, because even though I’m not a practicing Jew, I still think I would.  But I would anyway, because as a woman that has performed oral sex on a man (TMI), I prefer it by far and wouldn’t want my son to be discriminated against.

    Finally, as a med student who has seen many circumcisions, it’s not that bad.  Yes, the babies cry (mostly because they’re being held down and don’t like that).  And then they’re fine a couple minutes later.  And I don’t know a single man who resents his parents for removing his foreskin without his consent, so I’m not really swayed by that either.

    Honestly, I don’t have a preference either way. I don’t really HAVE any of that “equipment” so I don’t feel like I can made an educated decision on what to do. I would let Mr. Cardigan make the decision.

    @mrsmurraytobe: Agreed.

    I’ve been with both “styles”…and they both have their advantages/disadvantages as far as sexual satisfaction on my end. I can give more detail if anyone wants, but figured I would stop there for now. 🙂

    @Miss OBG & @mrsmurraytobe: Absolutely agree. My ex was uncircumcised and it was much less enjoyable.
