I’m not a member of that site, but I LOVE to read.  🙂  If you have a Kindle, you should check out http://www.pixelofink.com.  They post free books everyday.  I’ve gotten some really great books from there.

I love books! I am on Goodreads but only through my Facebook I’m afraid.

What kind of books do you like? (Can maybe still suggest some)

I’ve never heard of it – may have to check it out! I’m definitely a book-lover!

@BoiledPNut:  Thanks for the tip – my friend just gave me his old Kindle and I’m still figuring it out.

@Otaqueen:  I just started reading the Songs of Ice and Fire series and I’m seriously hooked. I became addicted to the HBO series and just had to read the books.

Have you ever read the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind? They’re decent, though I admit soe of the  books in the series are much better than others.

I also highly recommend The Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness. It has a great combo of witches/vampires/demons and biblio history. Though I warn  you, if you’re a series reader and need to know how things turn out the 2nd book isn’t due until July 2012. 🙁

Caleb Carr is amazing, btw. I took an Alienist walking tour through Lower Manhattan over the summer and was so psyched, some of the buildings and areas he describes in the story are still there!

Oh and if you like historical fiction the Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett is a good read. Long, but totally worth it.
