@SconnyGirl:  What don’t you like about your gown?  I think most of us went through the same feelings.  Would you want to share a pic of your dress and hopefully we could help you sort it out?

You’re not ridiculous at all – I can totally understand where you’re coming from! I felt the same way.

Have you thought about buying slightly used or sample dresses? You usually can get them at a much better price and there are TONS of Maggie dresses you could get! I also agree with jjmomma: if you show us your dress we can give you suggestions πŸ™‚ Or else, if you’re really not happy, maybe tell us which dress u loved and someone might have it for sale. In any case, there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting a certain dress for your big day πŸ™‚

@SconnyGirl:  Ah, I hear you.  I worried about that with my dress, until I saw the pics afterward.  What I wore is the one thing I wouldn’t change (other than my amazing husband) about my wedding day.  I have no doubt that 20 years from now I won’t look back and wonder what the heck I was thinking, or that I look outdated.  In my book, simplicity is element of style.  What is your dress?

Your dress is really similar to mine and the main reason I liked it was how flattering it was for my figure.  Alterations will help, too.  Once it fits just right, it’s a real confidence boost.

I love ur dress and I think it’ll look fab with blingy accessories and a cathedral length veil. Did u buy ur shoes yet? I just got mine they’re Steve madden anglyna1 and I love them!! The best part about having a simpler dress is u get to go all out with ur accessories. πŸ™‚

Your gown is beautiful and yes you can really add a lot to it with your accessories. I hated my gown it was everything I didn’t want in a gown, sleeveless, empire waist, organza and roushing however where I lived there were not bridal stores and my parents picked it out for me. Also because of budget it was a small blessing having my parents buy it and we were able to save that money for something else. However in the end I was told I looked beautiful and the most important part of the day was marrying my best friend.

So don’t worry about it. Your dress is beautiful and you will look beautiful in it.
