Hells no. I will stake his ass.

The first time I took Kingy on a date was to Hooters. I don’t understand why ANYONE would care about their fiance going to Hooters unless they have major trust issues.

ETA: We genuinely like their food, Kingy loves that there are about 100 TVs with sport on them (he’s Australian so thats a novelty to him), and so what if the girls flirt? They flirt with me too. We DO prefer Buffalo Wild Wings though!

It has nothing to do with trust, personally.  I don’t support a place I consider to be somewhat degrading to women.  I also don’t support restaurant chains.  We go local and organic (if possible) when we want to go out.

I voted hells no.. but not sure if I would really stake him. Baha! My Future Sister-In-Law used to work at Hooters, but is now pregnant, so that didn’t last. My Fiance doesn’t really like the whole idea of Hooters and laughs at all the guys who say they have good wings. Oh well 🙂

I couldn’t care less. He’s not a fan of the food, but if a couple guys wanted to go get beers and he wanted to go I’d have no problem with that.

I actually like their food, so believe it or not, not everyone on the planet thinks their food “sucks.”

No, of course I wouldn’t have a problem if DH went.  He goes every once in a while for PPV or dinner with the guys.

haha .. I don’t mind if he goes … but he said the wings aren’t that great and neither was the rest of the food.

@totheislnds: we just went to the Tilted Kilt two weeks ago.  It gets on my nerves cause it’s supposed to be all irish/scotch but other then the short plaid catholic school girl like uniforms the food was the same crappy bar food you get anywhere else, but more expensive.  They do have a ton of TV’s tho.

.  He doesn’t go there but I would certainly never prevent him from eating there if he wanted to, but he thinks Hooters is lame and the food sucks.  They’re just wearing short-shorts.  You can see chicks dressed in slutty clothing anywhere you go.  Also, the Hooters in our hometown had some seriously unattractive chicks on staff so if anyone went there to ogle, they’d be sorely disappointed.

I’ve actually never been and I really want to go just because it seems kinda funny….but the closest one to us is in Cincy I think which is a bit of a drive. We do love some wings but I’d be worried about getting a job offer :p

I love Hooters! I’ve probably been there more than my SO but we have gone there a bunch of times to watch games and eat. It cracks me up how many people hate the food, its pretty much the same stuff as Buffalo Wild Wings.

I’d recommend watching the undercover boss episode of Hooters if anyone has netflix, its on the instant. It was a really good episode.

I said porcupines– he doesn’t go to Hooters cause he doesn’t like to. I really could not care less either way.

Well, while I definitely don’t want him going to a strip club, I have no problem whatsoever with Hooters. That’s probably because my parents used to take me to Hooters all the time when I was growing up (I’m aware that this is a little weird). I don’t think the food’s that bad, but maybe it’s because I’ve been going there so long. And as a little girl, I loved it because there was a Hooters everywhere we vacationed and also plenty of hula hoops.

Nope, don’t care at all. I don’t care about strip clubs either. The only Hooters that we had around here closed a few years ago but even when it was open, I think he only went a handful of times.

For someone like me, who only eats if the food tastes good, and not just to fill me up when I’m hungry, I would not be found in a place like that if people are collectively suggesting that the food sucks. And PPs are from all different bkgds and locations so it’s not like just one location sucks, seems like they all do! (And I can make pretty good grilled-cheese sandwiches at home!)

I have never asked Fiance if he’s gone. Maybe with work buddies? But I wouldn’t know. I didn’t ask, he didn’t tell. He usually does tend to go to expensive places. I don’t mean to diss Hooters, but he tends to eat at expensive restaurants with his bosses, etc. Usually non-chains.

Fiance has gone. I have gone. We have gone together. It’s a place to eat. Jesus. What restaurant these days doesn’t have women in tight clad clothing? It’s not like I think Fiance wants to go home with them because they’re donning a pair of orange shorts. lol

The food isn’t that wonderful, but I do like the buffalo shrimp 🙂

Fiance got wings once and they had feathers on them, all mixed in with the sauce. Little. Tiny. Feathers. For real.
