I’m paranoid, so I would give them a tour and make sure they don’t steal anything. You just never know! (Assuming these people are strangers, of course). Every house I’ve ever looked at, whether when we were renting or looking to buy, we’ve had a guided tour, even if it’s a smaller place.

Show them around. The difference between you and Property Virgins is that the show has liability insurance for things that might get stolen when you are not looking.

Either that, or put everything valuable somewhere off site till you sell your house.

definitely pack away your valuables before they come.  i guess you can just let them tour it themselves if you want.   you said it was fairly small.

i sold my house last year on my own and i showed them around first (it was a large home) and answered any questions they had about certain things and then i let them wander around on their own.  they bought it in less than 24 hours.
