Umm, some are obvious, like a cake and centerpieces, but what I really wanted the most were chair covers. I just think they’re so cute and they scream ‘wedding’ to me. Luckily my venue rents them free :).

Ooh, let me see…

1. Chair covers

2. Centerpieces

3. Photographer/Videographer

4. Programmes

5. Flower arrangements for the ceremony

6. Aisle decor

7. Band

8. Buffet

I’m sure there’s more but I can’t think of anything else right now.

I don’t believe there are any MUST-HAVEs in weddings except a liscensed officiant, you, your Fiance, a witness (or two, depending on where you are), and a marriage certificate. The rest is all hogwash. Just a friendly reminder when OTHER people’s “must haves” start making you want to wring necks!

That said, here’s mine & FI’s list:

1. Good food; good wine

2. Great shoes

3. Outdoors in a great location

Groom. Family. And being fully clothed when I walk down the aisle would be good, too.Wink
