So, to prove to my doc that I’m not ovulating, I want to get some opKs. I went to order some Internet cheapies, but I see they don’t ship to Canada. Any ideawhere I can get them for cheap here in Canada?
EDIT: I have 40 day annvov cycles, when should I start using the opks? Right away, around cd 20?

@anotherbee: This is the website we got all of our stuff. It takes a couple weeks to ship but they work!!! 🙂

@anotherbee: I found some on Amazon.ca instead of amazon.com – there was a 50 pack of OPKs that shipped from the UK for really cheap, and they got here within about a week. Can’t remember the name of the company though.

Hopefully when you see an actual OB/GYN they will believe your charts. There are many OB/GYNs out there who don’t know much about charting, and i would assume there are even more GPs that know even less. The OPKs only detect the LH surge that causes ovulation and it is possible that you are having this surge and not ovulating, especially since it seems like your body is gearing up to O and then not. I would use the OPKs throughout your whole cycle for the first cycle, since you appear to gear up a few times. If you detect multiple surges then you have even more information to take with you to the Dr. It’s also possible that you just need more time to regulate. It took me 9 months off of BC for my cycles to return to normal. Either way, good luck!

@kiddosc: thanks I just ordered enough to get me through a cycle and I bought a few at the dollar store. I’ll start in a day or two and go through this cycle. I read a bunch of reviews online about the obgyn and they all say how much he listens to his patients and how up to date he is so I’m hopeful because of that. Plus my aunt works for him so she’ll listen to me! 🙂

Whoops – chiming in late, but I get mine from Amazon or Ebay. Super cheap, usually, with free shipping.
