I am putting together my gifts for my Bridesmaid or Best Man. I have gotten them a few different things, including earrings to match their dresses, stationary, Flip-flops, lip gloss, etc. My question is that these things have begun to add up. I orginally wanted to get them a nice mongram tote bag to put their gifts in but do not have an extra $50-100 to spend on the packaging. I am looking for a cheap but cute way to package these gifts. I also feel kind of bad since I am sure I am putting more effort into these than my FH will for his groomsmen as he is very busy (in his last year of med school). Anyone have advice either issue?

How about go to Marshalls, TJ Max or some other dicount store or craft store and picking up one of those pretty storage boxes or hat boxes with the floral or stiped patterns. They come in avariety of sizes and you could add a matching ribbon. The girls can reuse them too!

how about putting the items in a gift basket? baskets are probably cheaper than personalized tote bags. good luck!

How about reusable grocery bags – much cheaper than tote bags but still useful. Here are some links to some cute ones –
I hope that works – but they come in all sort of colors. They are sort of "floppy" so you might need to take a ribbon and tie them halfway to make them look nice.

Well – the reusable bag link didn’t work -but check that site out too the "mini-maxi’s" are really cute and look sort of sturdier than the normal bags.

Take a look at my gift post. http://www.weddingbee.com/2007/09/10/thank-you-gifts/
The paper bags were really cheap from Michaels, but I’m sure you can even get it at Target, Walmart, etc.. I printed the names of the wedding party on the computer, printed it out and glued it onto scrapbook paper that I tore. I also added a paper flower that I made.. it’s basically layers of torn paper with a brad in the middle. I crumbled it up and voila, paper flower. You get the idea, hope this helps!
