I do think that prenatal vitamins have helped me to grow healthier hair (although I am not sure about if it is growing much faster) I have heard that doing 5-10 minutes of scalp massage, twice a day is the best way to promote circulation, and encourage hair growth.

It won’t hurt to take the prenatal vitamins, my family doctor actually told me it is recommended that you start 18-24 months before even beginning to try to conceive.

I had a TOTALLY different reaction!! I was literally shedding like a dog!! I got alot of my hair cut off. Then again, I was actually pregnant so I don’t know!

I don’t know if they’ll help, but they shouldn’t hurt anything 🙂

My friend (whos in pharmacy school) said they DO help and she has been taking them for a while and her hair has grown incredibly long!!! And its thicker too! It just looks very healthy. Im going to start taking them as well because I had a similar experience

I’m on them and it does help both your hair and nails grow faster.  There is also a “hair and nail” vitamin (I’ve bought it at Wal Mart) that helped my hair grow faster as well.

They’re basically just a multi vitamin that has some extra iron and folic acid in them. They should be pretty harmless.
