Some guys just don’t take Valentine’s Day seriously. It doesn’t necessarily mean a whole lot to people because it’s a highly commercialized, Hallmark holiday. Try not to be too upset. Your SO is feeling ill and at least he thought to get you *something* instead of forgetting about it all together.

I know a guy who sent his Fiance an E-CARD!!! Yes, you read it correctly, an E-CARD!!! It doesn’t get much worse than that, haha.

@love108:  Mine too! I would give anything just to see him for 5 minutes today!

@bigcitybee:  haha my Fiance actually sent me an e-card!

To me things like that mean more than flowers that are going to die or a gift that really isn’t personal. Completely my personal opinion though! I am not a valentines day person but getting that card at work today while my Fiance is almost 500 miles away made me so happy! 🙂

I’m not really into Valentine’s Day at all, but seriously, it’s not hard to go pick out a card and write a few heartfelt words inside! Guys can be pretty dense about simple stuff like this. If I were you, I would tell him how you feel tomorrow. Just say that you like receiving cards and it means a lot to you. That way you aren’t disappointed again in the future. Sometimes guys just need to be told exactly what we expect. Otherwise, they might never get the clue!
