I have to get my e-ring re-rhodiumed before the wedding (I’ll probably get it done early May so I have it back in time)… Does anyone know *roughly* what this will cost me? I’m likely going to get it done at Littmans.. The girl who looked at my ring when we were at the mall gave me a quick guess of $30, but that doesn’t sound right.. Anyone ever had it done? How much did it cost?
Here is a picture of my ring.. It’s mostly the bottom of the band that needs redone…

@hiroshymatetrastar: I paid about $35 at the local jeweler near me. So, $30 is reasonable. Did they tell you how long it would take? Some places send them out and it takes forever.

@mnp: 2 weeks.. it just seemed $30 was low

@hiroshymatetrastar: $30 is a good price. If you’re worried about sending your ring away, any local jeweler could re-plate it in a day or two.

@mnp: nope not worried, they have worked on my other ring (under warranty so didn’t cost me anything)

$30 sounds about right to me.

yeah, rhodium plating is not a difficult process, so it seems that $30 would be a normal price.
