Im a first timer to this posting and blogging stuff so please be gentle 🙂 Sooooo, I am trying to figure this all out. My husband and I ended up eloping after our engagment because duty called and he answered. I am now a proud Army wife! We are still planning our actual wedding ceremony/celebrations with our loved ones upon his return from over sea’s. However when he comes home next month on mid-tour we want to formally announce our marriage to everyone (those who didn’t hear it by word of mouth). I am looking for a website where I can make a we got married/save the date card. They don’t exactly make those ya know. Maybe Im not looking in the right places. Any ideas??? Also, any good ideas on wording like “we couldnt wait, please save the date” Something catchy to put on the card. Something polite and classy yet semi informal, were a very fun loving couple.
Please and many thanks! Lurn

Welcome to weddingbee and congrats! Maybe you should look for an announcement/reception invite? I’m not sure if they have them, but I bought my invites from InvitationConsultants and they were great!

LOL I like that phrase “we couldn’t wait, please save the date!”
May I recommend one of the following websites to order save-the-dates (and potentially invitations later). All three of these sites have had good reviews from other people on this forum, and I’ve ordered from two of them myself. They let you pick whatever wording you want, as long as it fits on the card, so no worries about having uncommon requirements!
Good luck, and welcome to Weddingbee!

Welcome to weddingbee!
Since you may need something that have custom wording, I suggest looking on etsy.com. It’s about the same price (or cheaper at times) then conventional invitation sites, and since there’s one person who’s producing them, you can work with them to determine the wording, etc. That’s where I will be getting my invitations once we get to that phase of planning!

Oh! You can also print your own by picking and downloading any of the free templates – http://www.downloadandprint.com/. Some of these are pretty great!
