That picture is really pretty and I actually love styles like that but, not gonna lie, I saw “side-pony” and immediately thought of the 80s side pony up high on the head with a neon scrunchie.  The thing is, I wasn’t even around in the 80s…

I wore my hair very similar, in a loose side pony for my prom. But my hair was much shorter.  It was completely curled, and the center part was backcombed a bit. I can’t seem to find any pictures of it from the back, but there was a small green and silver comb just above the pony.

I love low side-ponys! I wear them all the time! Sometimes they look better than others (like when I’m trying to look good, lol). I usually wear either a flower or comb behind the side-pony (like in the center of my head). I think that first pic is fantastic.

I love this one 🙂

I personally like the one on the left better.

I did the side ponytail with a birdcage veil and peacock fasinator. I loved it, my only problem is is rained and most of my curl in the pony fell out! Here is it while it was still curled.

@jesses-girl:  it wasn’t a total pony so it did come loose. I went to have it styled and i asked my hairdresser how i should wear my hair flower clip, then he clipped my hair to the side and stuck some bobby pins.  So basically i felt like it could fall at any moment!  Though it stayed pretty well in tact given its loose clipping.  here it is at the end of the night:  (oh and after a while i just stopped caring what it looked like or if it was falling) the one you put in your OP looks pretty secure though – much more than  mine was.

you can see it came out a bit but it’s still to the side.

ETA: Oh and that baby was my flower baby (niece). she is about 7 months in that picture. i agree she is the cutest!
