My reception (not the wedding ceremony) is in my backyard, which can be a little hard to find since my house is set back from the road a good bit. So I want to hang a sign from my mailbox to mark the way (and probably balloons too…not the classiest thing but, hey, you sure can see them). I found a piece of wood in our woodshed that’d work perfectly (it’s kinda arrow shaped). But what should I paint on it? “Wedding”? That doesn’t seem right since the wedding would’ve happened earlier at the church. I don’t think both of our names will fit. “Reception” just doesn’t seem as cute as “Wedding.” Okay, I know I’m way over thinking this, but suggestions?

I would put your names only. That way, your guests will know, but wedding crashers and looky-loos wont!

I suggest putting your last names.

Yeah, that’s what I was gonna do but we both have long last names and I don’t think it’ll fit. Would a sign with just our first names work?

I would put just first names

I’d do wedding.. I think that is cute 🙂

I’d put your first names and the date, then you could use it as decor in your home after the wedding too!
Also, if you get the completely round big balloons they’ll look much classier and be very easy to spot!

How about your initials? Or the wedding date? Love? Cheers! Also you could tie ribbons around the part that hangs the sign.

i like the first names and date idea… but i’m taking his last name and think, if you are too, maybe writing that on the sign with the date:
that way you can use the sign in your house/barn after.
