Looking through another post, I saw a Bee had her Greek letters in the background of one of her pics.
I’m curious Bees, were you/are you in a sorority? If so, which one?
I was a Delta Gamma (Anchors Aweigh, DG!)

@btothez: Bleh, no. Sororities embarass themselves too often to appeal to me. Like when this happened, and this and this and then this and this and this and and all of these things. And these are just the stories I remember reading on Jezebel/Gawker alone. I know some sororities do awesome things, but the culture of exclusion and hazing and other crappy stuff really overrides all of that. Exclusive little clubs on college campuses can be a real breeding ground for bad ideas and warped people.
Bryn Mawr did not have sororities…but we chanted in Greek a lot!! So I chose other. Anassa kata!!!
Phi Mu here.
Kappa Delta checking in here, too ๐
I’ll be wearing my pin on the ring attachment on my wedding day, and I will have white roses in my bouquet (our flower). Two of my three bridesmaids are also KDs.
I’m sorry to hear the experience wasn’t great for those of you above…you should maybe try looking into your alumnae chapters in your area, I feel like being an alum has been a million times better than in college for many reasons ๐
