I am PROUD to be a Phi Mu! It was and continues to be a fabulous experience. My sisters are among my best friends, and I can’t wait for the day I get serenaded at my wedding. 🙂

It depends what you consider Greek. I’m a Sister of Tau Beta Sigma, the national honorary band sorority. We’re not panhellenic and we are co-ed since we’re an honor organization. I absolutely loved my time as a Sister in college and I was lucky enough to be selected to serve in the district leadership. I met a ton of fantastic people and a lot of my really good friends are from TBS or our brother organization, Kappa Kappa Psi.
ETA: I wore my Life Member pin on the inside of my dress for the wedding.
I agree with you too about it being one of the best experiences. Our Chapter did not haze at all. No one forced anyone to drink there were sisters who never drank, yeah there was some drama like whenever you put so many people into once social circle but it was super fun and I’d do it all again.
Gotcha, that makes sense! I knew of Phi Mu because my ex boyfriend is in that.
Nope– I was not, and given the opportunity to go through undergrad again, I wouldn’t join a sorority. Ironically enough, DH was a part of a fraternity in college and stays active with the alumni stuff, so I actually do have to attend Greek life functions all. the. time.
No thanks.
I was in Pi Beta Phi! ΠΒΦ Surprised I haven’t seen other Pi Phis representing on here! We had absolutely no hazing and it was overall a good experience.
@btothez: I’m a Delta Gamma also! I loved my sorority days 🙂
