My side of the family will be travelling from a different country and with them not being familiar with the area and they drive on the other side of the road, I am not comfortable with them renting a car.
What have other brides done? Renting a bus from early estimates is ~$650 which is a lot of money. I’m in the Birmingham, Alabama metro area.

Do you have a relative or friend that can act as a chauffer? You can then gift this friend/family member a really nice gift for helping out.

@missporkchops: Ditto this. For our wedding, we had a few older guests, who weren’t going to be comfortable driving into the city/driving back that late at night. So we invited one of their daughters (whom I knew) as a “chauffeur”- worked out great. And, we gave her a gas card.

Thank you for the ideas. I looked at my guest list and have a couple of options for friends and relatives who could be asked to be “chauffeurs” and I will do the gas card. I also thought about taxis.
