- Wedding: June 2009
So overall I’ve been able to find fairly good deals on many of my big wedding things (Photographer, Caterer, Dress, etc), but one thing I’m having a terrible time with is finding a Videographer. Or rather, I’ve found tons of wonderful ones but they are thousands out of my price range.
I really feel like a videographer is important to capture the emotion of the day and to look be able to look back on and cry a little. I’ve seen some wonderful things done by friends with a good eye in the Hive blogs, but unfortunately I don’t think I’m blessed with a friend like this (unless someone has been holding out on me!).
We’re really trying to keep the wedding under 10,000 as we have no money (woo college!) and both of our parents are bit tight on cash at the moment. Is there any advice out there on how to include a videographer without breaking the budget (ie. goal is $300-500) or recommendations for the Detroit, MI area?
