I say go for the date. I don’t think most people are going to care, they might giggle, but won’t really care.

I’m a 4/20 bride. It’s not a big deal. We know what it means but half of the people that I have told my date to have no idea what it means. I would not worry about it.

I know a few people getting married that day.  It’s one of those things you think about but then get over.  I say go for it.

I think people will think it when they hear the date….I know I do and I’m not a pot smoker, however, they’ll get past it

Say April 20th and not 4/20 and people won’t think twice about it.  I personally wouldn’t mind having an April 20th wedding. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Doesn’t seem like it’s that big of a deal, at least not to me.

Eh, my dad got married on April Fool’s day – no one thinks about it unless you bring it up.

As a high school administrator and former middle school teacher from Denver (where you can legally buy weed), I certainly know what 4.20 is, but I really doubt most people do….I would just skip using your date in a lot of places around the wedding (monogram, personalized stamps, etc). Like others have said, neither of you will forget your anniversary ๐Ÿ˜‰

Go for it. You don’t have to write your wedding date in numerals, just put April 20, 2013 on everything, it’s actually more elegant that way. Most people don’t know what that is anyways. I’m pretty sure you won’t be able to find another perfect venue you absolutely love that is available on a Saturday in April. You are less than a year away already…go for it : )

I don’t think it’s that big a deal. ๐Ÿ˜‰ If anything, you can make some nice jokes about it later.

Unless you’re afraid somebody’s gonna show up high, I say go for it.
