I DIY quite a bit for my wedding: invites, programs, escort cards, table numbers, Groomsmen & Groom boots, my BM’s bouquets & my bouquet, throwies for paper lanterns, all the centerpeices, all bar & food signs, cupcake stand, bags for cookie favors, and chair signs. So it can be done and still look nice!!!

Here is the turotial I followed for my DIY pocketfold invitations: http://www.weddingbee.com/2008/09/27/how-to-make-your-own-pocketfold-invitations/ except I made mine 6×6. I also made my own wrap around labels using excel.

I’d recommend downloading GIMP (it’s like a free version of photoshop) and looking up tutorials for it. I know I’ve stumbled across monogram tutorials before but I don’t have them saved, sorry!
