This ring was given to me by my Mother-In-Law, and it has been in the family for a very long time. The pearl is absolutely stunning in person and I love the diamond strands. I wore it as my RHR on my wedding day. It was my something old. I absolutely was floored when she gave it to me. It meant so much to me to receive such a special gift.

WOW! That ring is SO beautiful and what a wonderful memory to have for your wedding ! Here is my Grandmother’s ring – I never met her either. It is a 3 stone illusion setting and I love the little star patterns.

girltuesday:  Wow your pearl ring is gorgeous! I can’t help but took a few quick shots of my own pearl ring to share with you. They’re quite similiar except mine is a peacock colored Tahitian pearl.

Everyone’s RHR are so unique!

kimmo416:  Beautiful, beautiful ring! I love the design of it, as well as the story and history behind it. What a lovely and incredible piece, and I’m sure it will be a very special part of your wedding.

My mom recently passed my grandmother’s engagement ring down to my daughter (who is 10) and me. It’s definitely not as elaborate as yours, but I’m thrilled to have it, especially since I never knew my grandmother.

This is mine. My grandmother left me some of her jewels, but they were stolen in a robbery. My mother insisted I use the insurance money to buy a signature piece that reminds me of my grandmother. This is what I picked. A bit blingy for everyday wear but that doesn’t stop me. I love it and it really reminds me of my grandmother ( while also fitting my more modern tastes)
