Think about how different dresses can look on a model in a picture on a computer screen versus in real life!? You chose it because you felt beautiful, and that’s what everyone will see—beautiful you!!!! And, as you may have experienced, someone who has never gone shopping would never know how someone can see a dress and think “no way!” then try it on and love it.
I showed my Fiance pics online of the dress on someone else and the actual dress hanging from a hanger. He was not swooning, as I had hoped…LOL, but I know he will be, and that makes me excited!
I am missing something…there are 6 different dresses on the ad for preowned..which one is yours?!!?!?

all my mom has said about my dress was.. oh….its pretty. she said it without enthusiasm. i cant get her interested in my wedding plans to save my life it seems like. i think its because we did a quick courthouse marriage because of certain curcumstances and she feels we’re just waisting money by paying for a big wedding….anywho…i just got off subject…im good at that. 🙂
the only thing that matters is that you love your dress!! did your face light up when you saw yourself in the mirror when you tried it on? do you feel gorgeous in your dress? thats all that matters sweetheart. if anyone else doesn’t like it….well excuse my language but to hell with them. its your day…not theirs.

I’ll be honest, when I first saw pics of my bestie in her wedding dress I wasn’t feeling it. The lighting made it look ultra white and I got a distinct “debutaunt dress” vibe. I kept all of this to myself of course and gushed over it up until the wedding day when I saw her in all her wedding glory and cried cos she looked so gorgeous. Her dress was perfect for her and most of the time what you see on paper in no way compares to seeing someone you love in their dress on the day – it’s always a billion times better in real life! It could just be that people are having trouble picturing you in the dress (which is divine by the way!!!), maybe they’d always pictured you in something very different to it, or maybe they just can’t “see it” in their head. I guarantee that when they see you on the day they’ll be blown away AND if your friend remebers the dress and her comment I’m sure she’ll be mortified! LOL
