Regarding that gem of a heading, I just didn’t want anyone to misconstrue the title into a possible ‘E-nouncement'(did I just make up a word?)
SO just text me and said that he got the job that he had applied for within his company. We’ve been waiting to hear for nearly a month now, and finally that waiting has paid off, lol. But there are multiple upsides: Though it’s only a lateral move, not really a promotion or anything, the hours are fanfreakingtastic! Especially compared to the erratic schedule he had before. Not only will this give us more time to spend together on a more consistent basis as a family, it will also allow me the opportunity to go back to school. I’ve been itching to do so for a while now, but it would have been just too much chaos on our already crazy plate. (Bonus, school will help me implement Mr. Bee’s backup plan to the max!)

That’s wonderful! I’m so happy that you will be able to have more family time and pursue your dream of going back to school!!! It’s wonderful that you will be able to help implement his plan to the max, too.
Let’s hope your Mr. will realize that things are coming together for you guys and feel compelled to propose!

Thanks, ladies! And yes, @ChicChick:, I’m hoping that’s exactly what will happen. He’ll see things coming together, and be inspired! Here’s hoping. Proposal aside, this is a godsend for us, in so many ways. I feel like it’s a stepping stone to bigger and better things for us in general. Yaaay!

Congrats to him and going back to school!

PS: I read an article the other day that said that one of the indicators that he’s ready to get engaged is that he recently had a positive change (e.g. promotion) in his employment.
This could be the “spark” that gets him headed in the right direction!

You’re so cute wonderwoman. “E-nouncement,” I love it!! 😀
I also agree with mrsnelson! Our little business taking off was, I’m pretty sure, what “sparked” my SO into jumping in and ordering a ring. I really was not expecting it for a while. So I could definitely see this spurring him onto proposing!
Keep us updated! Especially as you go forward with “The Plan,” hehe. 😉

Thanks, gals! And I hope this is the encouragement SO needs to spur him along. And I will be throwing myself into ‘The Plan’ ASAP. More than usual, I mean 🙂
