I’m sure if you took it to a jewelers they could size it again for you…They can just remelt the metal and resize it for you. It will probably cost $50-$60. SO used to work in jewelry. He says if it happens again, go to a jeweler because they can cut it off for you for free, they have the tools for it there.

@DrMrsCol:  Bummer!! Hope you can get it fixed without much trouble. I heard recently that something that’s great for taking off tight rings is Windex… but I’ve never tried it myself.

So sorry this has happened! I agree you should see if a jeweller can fix and resize the ring for you. If not, perhaps you could condsider having a replica made, using all the original stones.

You can have it sized. My mom had to have a ring cut off several times (same ring) and just got it sized each time afterward.

That is a total bummer πŸ™ I agree with PPs; you can get it resized. The upside, is that it should fit you perfectly when it’s done!
